The Islamic Republic of Iran oppresses its people, but especially its women, under strict Islamic Law (sharia). This is not something unique to the Iranian regime or its Penal Code but rather is a feature of Islamic Law itself – which states that there is no legal penalty for a parent or grandparent who kills their own child.

The new ruler of Damascus is Hayyat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) jihadi Ahmed al-Shara’a, who recently issued an edict placing everything HTS has conquered in the former Syria under Islamic Law.

One concern is that, not only the currently-existing Islamic Center, but the eventual city itself could seek to impose Islamic Law (sharia) throughout the premises. At the moment, women, for example, are obligated to observe gender segregation and Islamic clothing regulations inside the mosque.
[Editor’s Note - The article asserts the enclave:
- Mandates Sharia-compliant hijab for all girls attending EPIC’s Islamic schools
- Enforces gender segregation during prayer and events inside its mosque, in full alignment with Islamic legal rulings on male and female separation.
- Requires women to remain fully Sharia-compliant while inside the mosque, including adherence to rules regarding public speech, seating, dress, and body covering.
- Lectures women on Sharia hair and grooming laws, including fatwas against plucking eyebrows, perfume use, and dress outside the home.]

A glimmer of hope:

The interesting point to this story, though, is that it is Kyrgyzstan, a majority Muslim country – albeit with a secular government – that has banned the niqab. [Editor’s Note - some U.S. states have laws against face coverings in public for the same public safety rationale. Those laws should be enforced.]

The usual assortment of Islamic crimes against women [Editor’s Note: we haven’t heard a good defense yet]:

That this is happening in India is truly disturbing. Rule of law in India’s constitutional democracy must be enforced.

The couple has run school training programs in Afghanistan since before the 2021 Taliban takeover. While not entirely clear what they are charged with, it may have to do with a Taliban ban on women working and on education for girls older than 12.

Of all countries to be included in the UN Women’s Rights Commission, perhaps only Afghanistan and Pakistan stand out as less qualified. Qatar is an authoritarian monarchy ruled by Islamic Law (sharia). It has long armed, funded, harbored, and sponsored the Muslim Brotherhood, including its Gazan branch, the HAMAS Islamic terror organization.

In this post on X by @visegrad24 on January 7, 2025, we see an Iranian Shi’ite cleric describing women as “animals”, like “cows and sheep”, created only to be used by men. No, most Iranian people do not think like this at all, but they are ruled by troglodytes who still keep a tyrannical grip on Iranian society.

Although the names of those charged are not included in this report (so we don’t know if they are men or women), this case so well illustrates the collapse of Western Civilization in Europe before the onslaught of Islamic Law (sharia), that it merits inclusion here. Interesting to note that the story is carried in a Moroccan news outlet, raising the question of whether they are genuinely trying to expose a violation of civil liberties or perhaps gloating for a Muslim audience at the fall of Denmark to sharia.

Notably, McCarthy was also a book contributor who co-authored the Introduction to “Shariah: The Threat to America” and author of two other books on jihad: “Willful Blindness” & “The Grand Jihad”.

The Iranian Parliament first passed strict new “Chastity and Hijab” laws, but then backed off, at least temporarily. Women and girls in Iran still face brutal consequences for refusing to wear the hated hijab, but more and more are choosing to rebel. The regime is losing its grip and the people know it. That reason is Islam and the Taliban’s devout, faithful, obedience to Islamic Law (sharia). Their mentality sees obedience to sharia as a commandment of the faith that earns them eternity in paradise. We see it as primitive barbarity.

Unfortunately, what is missing from both the RFE/RL and HRW reports is the centuries-old basis of such heinous abuse against women as being firmly grounded not only in “cultural practices” but in Islamic Law (sharia) itself.

Another story from some years ago, but indicative of attitudes and behavior still deeply ingrained among Muslim men and society in Afghanistan and elsewhere. Unfortunately, under sharia, women are considered literally the property of men from birth to death, as children, child brides, and wives. In societies such as those ruled once again by the Taliban in Afghanistan, where such primitive behavior and mindsets are not only accepted but encoded into law, women and girls have no rights.

Editor’s Note - It doesn’t matter if the story is from now or a thousand years ago. This all stems from core Islamic doctrine, i.e., the Quran which is the transcribed direct word of Allah and cannot be changed. This is why you see such consistent atrocities over centuries from adherents of Islam who are doomed to remain perennially primitive in their treatment of women.

Our focus this month, appropriately enough as it turns out, is the Islamic Republic of Iran. As the following news items will attest, the jihadist regime of the mullahs is above all a misogynist regime. Fear of individually free, strong, independent women runs like a collective shiver through the clerical, judicial, Pasdaran, and police ranks of Iran. This is why the mass regime hysteria over Iranian women and girls who might show a bit of their hair – their hair! – sends them into a frenzy of assault, rape, and torture. This Iranian regime, even having lost its President and Foreign Minister in a helicopter accident this month, is incapable of normal, sane behavior towards its own people, most especially its women – and there is no chance for any change towards the better until this regime is replaced with a government of, by, and for the Iranian people.

Not now, during the month of March, which is Women’s History Month, and not ever. The theme running through all of this month’s articles is the dehumanization of women that seems hard-wired into Islamic Law (sharia)—or at least the way sharia culture is inculcated into the men who grow up under its influence.

This report documents a “state sanctioned campaign of sexual violence” against protesters during the “Women, Life, Freedom” protests that swept through Iran following the murder of Mahsa Amini by Iranian police in 2022. Sexual violence against Iranian dissidents and protesters, both male and female, has been a recurring abuse documented throughout the now 45-year rule of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The first three Articles of that constitution clearly place Afghanistan under rule of Islamic Law (sharia).

This one’s about a Syrian Muslim on trial in France for multiple charges of domestic abuse. First, he lies; but then he seems genuinely surprised that in civilized society, it’s actually against the law to beat your wife & children. Marriage for love & love of one’s children is obviously a concept entirely missing from this man’s Islamic life experience before coming to France.

All perfectly legal under sharia.

In recognition of the horrific HAMAS jihad massacre of Israeli civilians on 7 October 2023, this set of links will be dedicated to highlighting the barbaric way that these savages abused women. This is not to detract from the equally barbaric treatment of the elderly, men, children, and even babies, but to note how women and girls in particular were assaulted in a sexual way. Unfortunately, as Robert Spencer has pointed out in recent interviews, this is entirely in keeping with Quranic references that legitimize polygamy, sex slavery, and the taking of sex slaves as spoils of jihad.

In observant Islamic communities, women are not independent actors but subservient their entire lives to a male: father, brother, son…who are raised to believe they have the right to complete control over the lives of women in their family. Even state-level criminal codes in many Islamic countries treat so-called “honor” crimes very leniently.

This is definitely an odd one. An online channel affiliated with Al-Qa’eda but opposed to the Islamic State (IS) got access to an IS document dated January 9, 2022. The document describes how female slaves who’d been given to IS fighters in should be treated if found to have contracted AIDS. Enslavement of these women and their forced marriages to IS fighters is considered normal and taken for granted. If testing shows they have AIDS, however, the marriages are dissolved, and the women are then married off to an IS fighter who likewise has AIDS. They can also be offered for ransom or killed if they refuse to become Muslims.

We’ll recall that it was Noah Feldman (protégé of then-Dean of Harvard Law School, now U.S. Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan) who was tasked by the U.S. State Department to draft the Afghan constitution that went into effect in 2004. It’s only necessary to read the first three Articles to see that our own U.S. government drafted a document that placed Afghanistan and all its people under Islamic Law. For whatever reason, however, this constitution was abolished by the Taliban regime that took over Afghanistan in 2021 after the U.S. flight from the country. With or without that constitution, the women of Afghanistan are treated as chattel with their human rights completely abused and denied, as per strict enforcement of Islamic Law.

Under Taliban rule once again, girls in Afghanistan are banned from attending secondary school. In an effort to somehow stay in school, they are enrolling in madrassas. These religious schools that only teach Qur’an, however, cannot compensate for the loss of a proper academic curriculum. This is, of course, the intent under Islamic rule: girls are often married off even before their teen years and purposely denied any education beyond the elementary level.

The 1-year anniversary of the September 16, 2022 arrest and murder of Kurdish-Iranian Mahsa Amini by Iran’s so-called ‘morality police’ is coming up. Her killing, supposedly for allowing her hijab to slip from completely covering her hair (while inside her family’s personal vehicle), set off months of street protests against the Iranian regime. These protests focus especially on the complete lack of women’s rights under the Islamic Republic of Iran’s draconian sharia regime. Despite a brutal crackdown by the regime against the protesters, those demonstrations continue today, often under the slogan “Woman, Life, Freedom”.

Continuing with our exposure of the horrendous treatment meted out to women both Muslim and non-Muslim by Muslim men, we see again with this list how entitled these attackers feel to act out the basest of human impulses, how utterly lacking in remorse they are, and how often they fully expect to and do get away with their crimes—or are punished with only minor penalties. In sharia societies, this attitude clashes violently with what many of us in the West think of as a shared humanity, a shared sense of what is right and wrong, and appreciation for the nobility of chivalrous behavior by men towards women.

Instead, the upbringing for young males in some Islamic communities strips them of all feelings of respect or caring for and defending women in general. We realize that raising boys and girls to value and respect others, no matter their background, is behavior grounded in Judeo-Christian morality and principles. Not that those of other faiths may not share such morality and principles – they do – but here in the West, such an ethos more often than not is biblically based.

Such men routinely cite the same hadiths and verses from the Koran. Verses 4:3 and 4:24, for instance, permit Muslim men to have sexual relations with as many women as "their right hand possesses" — meaning as many women — all non-Muslim, of course — as they are able to take captive during a jihad
