Islamic Influence In the U.S. Government - Kamala Harris Would Pick Up Where Joe Biden Left Off

We’ll cover a few categories here this month: the Biden-Harris continuing appeasement of the Islamic regime in Iran, questionable USG decisions on national security matters, and also some questionable appointments and associations of the Harris-Walz campaign team.
 
This first set of reports highlights the lack of national security rigor at the top levels of the Biden-Harris administration. The pattern seems to favor passes for U.S. adversaries including Iran, Turkey, and the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood network.

  • We’ll recall, of course, that the Biden administration appointed former ISNA president and longtime imam at the Muslim Brotherhood’s ADAMS Center, Imam Mohamed Magid, to the same Commission in August 2022. And unfortunately, it was during the Trump administration in July 2017 that Governor Sam Brownback of Kansas was named Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom. His connections to prominent Muslim Brotherhood figures are well-documented.

Now, we include a few items here about some questionable associations and appointments by currently-serving Vice President Kamala Harris and her presidential campaign’s VP running mate, MN Governor Tim Walz.

  • The questions here are about Gordon’s possible connections to the Iranian regime’s Iran Experts Initiative influence operations network. These are questions currently being investigated by Senators Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY).

  • Ilan Goldenberg served as a member of Secretary of State John Kerry’s negotiating team during the 2013-2014 final status talks. He’s been outspoken in criticism of Israel and support for both a HAMAS role in Gaza and the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA) and even attended at least one event held by NIAC (National Iranian American Council).

  • Yes, this photo dates to 2019 when Democrat Party Vice-Presidential nominee Tim Walz spoke at a CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) event. But he’s posing in that photo with Hatem Bazian, the founder of both the Muslim Brotherhood’s American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) and its campus branch, Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP). As US campuses return to SJP-led pro-HAMAS protests once again this fall semester, the question that must be asked is whether Walz has since renounced these troublesome associations.

AMP, a founding member of the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO, the Muslim Brotherhood’s U.S. political umbrella group) is the parent organization of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), its campus branch. AMP and SJP, both founded by AMP’s Hatem Bazian, are the target of multiple lawsuits as well. It may be hoped that both the Congressional and legal inquiries focus on AMP and overall USCMO connections to Turkey and its ruling AKP (Justice & Development Party), founded by stridently pro-HAMAS President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

  • Although this report dates back to the Obama administration, there should be no doubt that agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran remain in the U.S., continuing to support that regime’s nuclear weapons ambitions. That the FBI, whose responsibility it is to defend the U.S. domestically against threats from hostile actors, so egregiously failed to take any necessary steps to stop then-Secretary of State John Kerry from interfering in that duty, must raise questions about how the Biden administration even now is dealing with such threats from the Islamic Republic.

Even as Israel’s war for survival against the Iranian regime-backed HAMAS jihad terror group moves into its ninth month, the Biden administration and key figures within it and the Democrat Party increasingly seem to be moving in directions diametrically opposed to support for the U.S.’s one and only liberal democratic friend and ally in the Middle East: Israel. There is no disguising the obvious affinity and sympathy of these officials for Muslim Brotherhood front groups operating unhindered inside the U.S.—and especially on our university campuses. HAMAS, of course, is the Brotherhood’s Gaza branch.

In the midst of ongoing IDF operations in Gaza and spreading pro-HAMAS student lawlessness on American university campuses, a number of stories remind us that the enemy is already inside the gate here at home.

  • U.S. university campuses are hotbeds of what appear to be very well-organized pro-HAMAS demonstrations & protests that are becoming increasingly violent as authorities both inside and outside numbers of schools have refused to enforce either law or the universities’ own regulations.

Ramadan this year runs from sundown on March 10, 2024 to sundown on April 10, 2024. The White House Statement of support for the Islamic observance included sympathetic references to Gaza, where over 80% of the people have told pollsters that they support HAMAS.

Even though Congress has barred the USG from awarding U.S. taxpayer dollars to the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), the key UN aid organization in the Gaza Strip that is nearly entirely staffed by HAMAS employees or supporters, behind the scenes, the Biden administration continues to urge donors other than the USG to continue funding it.

At his 8 March 2024 State of the Union address, President Joe Biden announced his intention to construct a pier off the Gaza shore that would be used for bringing in humanitarian aid. But then, the White House and State Department decided to bring in Qatar to help fund and manage the pier. Qatar is the top backer, funder, and supporter of HAMAS, the Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO)-listed Islamic terror group that attacked Israel on 7 October 2023.

Inflection Point: Biden Administration Must Pander to the Muslim Vote

Topping the list this month has to be the Biden administration’s desperate outreach to Michigan Muslims in a must-win state it fears he may lose over his support of Israel. In early February 2024, Biden’s White House sent a clutch of senior officials to Michigan to listen to the foreign policy demands of Muslim voters there. No evidence the Biden admin’s groveling swayed any of Michigan’s Muslim electorate, but its shameful public appeasement certainly showed our ally Israel – and the rest of the world, friends and enemies alike - what its pledges of friendship really mean.
 
  • [Editor’s Note - A former French President expressed support for Israel, but retracted it after one of his ministers pointed out the fact that France has a lot of Muslim residents and expressing support for Israel was no longer smart as a matter of domestic politics.  It appears the Democrat Party in the U.S. has reached the same inflection point.]

The worst might have been Biden’s and Abdullah’s joint call for yet another Arab Muslim terror state – the so-called “two-state solution”.

Sympathy for the Devil - HAMAS

Although the Biden administration continues publicly to declare its firm support for Israel and its right to defend itself against HAMAS, behind the scenes there are reports that what the Biden team really wants is for Israel to finish its war in Gaza as quickly as possible and with as few civilian casualties as possible…even if that means that HAMAS and its leadership survive.
  More indicators of anti-Israel bias among Biden administration officials:
  • “Senior CIA official posted pro-Palestinian propaganda on social media” at Jewish News Syndicate, November 29, 2023
    • Interestingly, this CIA official is reported to have posted support for the International Crisis Group (ICG), the Washington, D.C. think tank formerly headed by Robert Malley, the now-suspended Biden admin envoy to the Vienna Iran nuclear talks. Others at the ICG (although not necessarily this official) were recruited by Malley to the Iran Experts Initiative, an Iranian regime influence operation deeply embedded inside the U.S. national security community.
 
Over at the Department of Veterans Affairs, an appellate attorney in the Office of the General Counsel posted a video on social media in which she appeared to mock Israel’s anguish over its people held hostage by HAMAS
 
Meanwhile, members of the Democrat Party’s ‘Jihad Squad” have come under fire for remarks that seem to diminish the horror of HAMAS atrocities, especially against Israeli women

Iranian Influence Operation Is Deep Inside the U.S. Government

News broke in late September 2023 that an extensive Iranian regime network had succeeded in embedding itself deep inside the Department of Defense and Department of State.
 
The Islamic Republic of Iran recruited and deployed assets into sensitive official positions across the U.S. national security community in order to sway USG policymaking in favor of Tehran’s foreign policy objectives. Those objectives particularly related to Iran’s nuclear weapons program and secret talks that began in 2012 to enable it to make steady progress toward deployment of a deliverable nuclear weapon without meaningful USG opposition.
 
This is one of the most serious and damaging compromises of U.S. national security, at least since Soviet/Russian spies of the Cold War and post-Cold War period.

The Sen. Bob Menendez Story: Indicted Recently for Accepting Bribes from Egyptian Business Contacts in New Jersey
 
Sen. Menendez (D-NJ) stands accused of taking large amounts of money, gold bars, and a Mercedes Benz car in return for influencing USG policy on foreign aid while serving as the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. An element of those accusations involves the allegation that Menendez and his wife, Nadine Menendez, took some of those bribes through an Islamic halal meat certifying company in Egypt.
 
Additionally, Sen. Menendez was working behind the scenes with the Imam Faisal Rauf and a NYC real estate developer to get an Islamic Center and mosque built two blocks from the site of the World Trade Center.
