Democrats Trying to Lock Up the Alzheimer’s Vote with ‘Voting Day’ Events

The Truth sent the assertions below to the communications director of the Democratic Party of Virginia for comment. There was no response. The assertions stand unrebutted despite ample opportunity to dispute them, thus constituting constructive admissions of voter fraud on the part of Democrats.
It appears that the Democratic Party is trying to commandeer the voting process in nursing homes in at least one locale in Virginia, and perhaps elsewhere. A well-known Democratic operative asked a local voter registrar for blanket authority to fill out absentee ballot requests for nursing home residents, a Virginia citizen who serves as an election officer told The Truth. The operative also asked for authority to take possession of all such blank absentee ballots issued and to hold them until the Democratic Party can schedule a ‘Voting Day’ at each nursing home in the district. At ‘Voting day’ events, to be held shortly before the November election, representatives of the Democratic Party would ‘help’ the residents complete their ballots, i.e., assist them in casting their votes. At this writing, two members of the local election board in question are opposed to the Democrats’ request, but the matter is still pending.
The Democrat ‘Voting Day’ proposal does not call for the participation of any government official or representative of another political party. The participation of election officials would be required by law in some states, e.g., Maryland and Florida.
This news follows the report in The Truth last week about an ‘ice cream social’ the Democrats held in another nursing home in Virginia for purposes of ‘assisting’ nursing home residents (at least one of whom was mentally incapacitated) in the voting process.
Scheduling ‘Voting Day’ events is a clever, time-efficient way to harvest votes from nursing homes en masse, The Truth’s source pointed out. Previously, illicit vote harvesting in nursing homes was a hit-or-miss affair, relying on finding complicit nursing home administrators to work with one absentee ballot at a time. Under the pending request to the registrar in Virginia, however, vote harvesting becomes much more systematic, involving large numbers of ballots and the collection of all absentee votes in several nursing homes a day. But the operation would depend on intercepting residents’ U.S. mail in apparent violation of federal law, the Truth’s source suggested. Ballots addressed to nursing home residents would instead be handed to Democratic operatives, then collected and hand-delivered back to the registrar instead of being mailed. The intended progression from individual ballot to mass operation shows that the Democrats are becoming increasingly brazen in their attempts to commit voter fraud, the source said.
The Truth’s source speculated that the same operation is being rolled out in other places, perhaps in every county in the country where not prohibited by state law.

The Virginia Medicaid Reform Team (VMRT – a group of grassroots activists) recently sent Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe the fifth of several sets of hard questions about Medicaid expansion.
For five weeks now, the silence has been deafening – NO RESPONSE.
As VMRT wrote his office:
State savings, like so many other false promises made by Medicaid expansion supporters, have not materialized in several expansion states. Moreover, expansion is a drag on the economy in expansion states, not the mythical Keynesian boost supporters promised. There’s obviously something wrong with Medicaid expansion when prediction after prediction, and promise after promise, blow up in people’s faces.
Below please find a number of questions addressing these issues. It is incumbent on the Governor, who has proposed Medicaid expansion for the third time, to answer these questions before his proposal is taken seriously.
Any serious discussion of the Medicaid expansion issue would include the downsides, not just pump the glorious benefits of spending ‘free’ money like there was no tomorrow.
The Governor is on notice that the Virginia Medicaid Reform Team expects answers. In a week, we will publish the results of this inquiry so that all Virginia residents can weigh for themselves the sufficiency of the Governor’s answers or, if he chooses not to answer, his nonresponse.
Again, we look forward to the Governor’s expeditious replies.

Set #5 – No State Savings, Drag on the Economy
- Why have state savings projected from Medicaid expansion not materialized in New Mexico?
- Why will new costs from Medicaid expansion overwhelm projected savings sooner than expected in Michigan? Businesses there worry they will face higher taxes as a result. Can you guarantee businesses in Virginia the same thing won’t happen here and their taxes won’t be raised?
- If estimates of state savings are so off in expansion states now, how bad could it get in Virginia when the 100 percent federal match for expansion starts declining next year?
- Aren’t the supposed savings from Medicaid expansion in the study that was done in Virginia predicated on faulty assumptions about enrollment? Enrollment has exploded and costs mushroomed in expansion state after expansion state. Where are the stress tests that show what happens to the results of the Virginia state savings study under more realistic assumptions of double, or even triple (as in California), expected enrollment?
- Why did healthcare employment go DOWN, not up, as promised in Kentucky after Medicaid expansion?
- Why did Ohio’s workforce shrink after Medicaid expansion? Isn’t it true that Medicaid discourages work among childless, able-bodied adults?
- Shouldn’t any economic outlook account for Medicaid expansion’s adverse effects on the number of people working? Are you aware of any study in Virginia that has done so? If not, how can you maintain that Medicaid expansion would grow Virginia’s economy?
- Explain why Medicaid expansion dollars would benefit economy more than highway dollars, tax cuts or deficit reduction.
- Why is job growth higher in states that refuse Medicaid expansion?
- Why should we expand Medicaid as a jobs program when we could just pass a jobs program or cut taxes to boost private sector activity?

White House Refuses to Answer on Muslim Brotherhood Terror Designation
UPDATE 9/4/16 -
Veep Pick Kaine Fails to Contradict Findings in Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Bill
The following questions were sent to Sen. Tim Kaine’s press secretary on September 8, 2016 and again on September 12, 2016, both times with a deadline of close of business September 13, 2016 for any response or request for extension of time.
This is not surprising given Tim Kaine’s dalliance with fundamentalist Islamists. When Governor of Virginia, Kaine appointed a Hamas supporter to the state’s Immigration Commission. Kaine spoke at a dinner honoring a Muslim Brotherhood terror suspect. Moreover, he has taken campaign contributions from Muslim Brotherhood front groups, including the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations). Much more at Breitbart
UPDATE 9/14/16 – S.2230 now has seven co-sponsors. A companion bill, H.R.3892, was passed out of the House Judiciary Committee on Feb. 24, 2016 (story here). H.R. 3892 has 64 co-sponsors.
The Sharia TipSheet asked the White House Press office in January 2016 whether the President would sign S.2230 - Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2015 (sponsored by Ted Cruz) – if passed by Congress. If not, why not?
The TipSheet also asked: Does the White House dispute any of the following findings of fact in the bill set forth below? If so, which ones and with what evidence?
These findings of fact were put to the White House:
This is not surprising, given this White House’s track record with the Muslim Brotherhood:

These findings of fact were put to the White House:
- “Multiple countries have declared the Society of the Muslim Brothers (commonly known as the “Muslim Brotherhood”) a terrorist organization or proscribed the group from operating in their countries.”
- “The United States has previously designated global elements of the Muslim Brotherhood as foreign terrorist organizations, including … Hamas….”
- “Individual Muslim Brotherhood leaders have been designated by the United States as Specially Designated Terrorists”
- “The fact that the international Muslim Brotherhood engages in terrorism financing inside the United States was attested to in February 2011 by FBI Director Robert Mueller”
- Muslim Brotherhood affiliates “and their leaders, among others, were named as unindicted co-conspirators in the [Holy Land Foundation] case.”
- “the Muslim Brotherhood meets the criteria for designation as a foreign terrorist organization under section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1189)”
This is not surprising, given this White House’s track record with the Muslim Brotherhood:
- Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy has said of the Muslim Brotherhood that the Obama administration has “engaged with them, enabled them, empowered them,” and has even in some cases, decided to “fund and arm them.” Breitbart
- Pres. Obama met with Muslim Brotherhood officials when during a 2009 visit to Egypt. Washington Times
- In 2015, Pres. Obama met with Islamic leaders in the White House, some of whom have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. The names were released only after dogged media inquiries. Washington Times, Washington Free Beacon One of the leaders was Azhar Azeez, President of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), a Muslim Brotherhood-founded group known to funnel money to Hamas. - The Muslim Brotherhood created the Freedom and Justice Party in Egypt, members of which were hosted at the State Department in 2015. Washington Times

Car Dealer Congressman a Total Hypocrite on Global Warming, Won’t Answer Questions
UPDATE 1/6/16 - Don Beyer wrote: "More than 7,000 Americans lost their lives to climate change-fueled events last year." Politifact rated this FALSE. With good reason – the claim is preposterous on its face. Only a climate rapturist could fail to recognize that. What else is Beyer wrong about, hmm?
The Paris climate summit came up a number of times at a recent constituent town hall hosted by Rep. Don Beyer, Democrat of Virginia and owner of nine car dealerships. (‘Just the Facts: A Discussion about Climate Change’ – November 19, 2015). The panelists included an Obama White House climate change advisor, an EPA official, an advocate from the Natural Resources Defense Council (with previous experience at Greenpeace and the Sierra Club), and a doctor from a university climate program. Although Rep. Beyer acknowledged at the outset that anthropogenic climate change is disputed, he did not see fit to include a single skeptic on the panel.
This was a love-fest with a cheering audience of co-religionists in deep-blue northern Virginia (the government-dependent D.C. suburbs). The evening was punctuated by mea culpas of ‘Catholic guilt’ about the environment – e.g., laments that the audience would get back into their SUVs and drive to their over-sized homes afterwards; much self-flagellation about how Americans indulge in too much consumption, etc. The debunked mantra – ‘97% percent of scientists agree that man-made climate change is real’ – was repeated several times to an unquestioning audience that swallowed it whole on blind faith. A question from the audience laid bare the true agenda behind climate change agitation: What are we going to do to change our economic system (i.e., destroy capitalism and institute communism)? Another audience member expressed displeasure that bottled water was provided to the panelists. A team member from The Truth handed out flyers beforehand, but one was handed back with the admonishment to recycle it. No one asked the questions on The Truth’s flyer:
Questions for Rep. Beyer:
The Truth handed these questions to Rep. Beyer afterwards and told him that his responses would be published. He admitted seeing the questions earlier in the evening. The Truth also sent the questions to his office twice well in advance of publication with a request for any kind of response.
Rep. Beyer did NOT answer the questions. There was no response of any kind from him or his office by the time this was published.
However, he did say during the event, “I hate to admit this as a car dealer, but 40 percent of all car trips are unnecessary.”
He also told the member of The Truth team, upon being handed the questions afterwards, in paraphrase:
We can’t stop driving. The great news is that when I first started selling cars, they got 13 miles per gallon. Now they get 45. Things are moving in the right direction.
That’s it? The panelists kept saying climate change is a catastrophe – sea levels are rising and people are dying NOW – and this is your defense? With all the respect that is due, the people who are looking to you as a hero on this subject need to find another hero. Your hypocrisy is showing and it disqualifies you completely.

- You’ve made a fortune selling automobiles that run on fossil fuels. When will you stop doing so and disgorge the profits you have made?

- How can anyone claim that the scientific debate about climate change is over when 31,487 American scientists have signed a petition stating that the release of CO2 and other greenhouse gases do NOT cause catastrophic heating of the earth and, further, that limits on greenhouse gases damage the welfare of mankind?
