Countering the Voter Suppression Narrative

VOTER SUPPRESSION NARRATIVE
There is no evidence of voter fraud.
You’re asking the wrong question. If the system were set up right, there wouldn’t be so many opportunities for voter/election fraud and we wouldn’t have to worry about evidence.
States have made almost no effort to detect voter fraud. There are very few investigations or prosecutions. Just because there’s not enough evidence of voter fraud to satisfy you doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Devote more resources to voter fraud investigations and prosecutions and the amount of evidence will increase. The Heritage Foundation voter fraud database documents over a thousand proven instances of voter fraud, including convictions.
The congressional testimony of Jesse Binnall documented election fraud in Nevada in the November2020 election. He found 130,000 instances of voter fraud, all backed up by voter names and data. The defects included voting more than once, dead people voting, nonresidents, etc. Other jurisdictions have not been examined to the same extent.
It doesn’t matter how much evidence we put in front of you, you refuse to look at any of it.
Even if there’s voter fraud, the numbers are too small to affect the outcome of elections.
The congressional testimony of Jesse Binnall documented 130,000 instances of voter fraud in the 2020 election, far greater than the margin of victory.
There are plenty of elections that have been decided by a handful of votes.
Republicans are trying to suppress the vote / make it harder to vote.
- Voter ID laws suppress the vote.
‘Voter ID laws are the new Jim Crow’
The 2005 bipartisan Carter-Baker Commission recommended voter ID.

Numbered ballots are one suggested reform - what do numbered ballots have to do with voter suppression?
Yes, the GOP trying to suppress ILLEGAL votes and make it harder to cheat. That’s the way it should be. Every illegitimate vote cancels a legitimate vote.
Yes, voter ID laws do suppress ILLEGAL votes. That’s the way it should be. Make it harder to vote ILLEGALLY.
Voter ID laws are common sense. ID must be shown in many other contexts, but somehow they constitute a barrier to voting? That’s preposterous.
Voter ID laws have been upheld by just about every court that has looked at them.
Black voter participation went UP, not down, after North Carolina passed a voter ID law.
Early Voting UP in Texas County After Voter ID
“Oscar Villarreal, the county’s elections administrator, said the number of voters increased compared with the 2010 midterm election. About 20,000 ballots were cast early in the county, which is about 95 percent Hispanic.”
“We were a little bit over what we had four years ago, probably about 1,000,” he said.”

Voter ID has 75 percent support.
The Democrats are hypocritical. They are fine with ID requirements for vaccines, but not votes.
The assertion that minorities are not capable of obtaining adequate ID is horribly racist and paternalistic. Ami Horowitz asked black people in Harlem what they thought of the Democrat argument black people are not capable of obtaining identification and they looked at him like he was nuts.
Republicans are trying to intimidate voters.
Prove it. Accusations are easy to make, harder to prove.
If you want to see voter intimidation, look at what the Black Panthers did to voters in Philadelphia in 2008.
I saw one reference to the idea that convening grand juries to prosecute voter fraud is voter intimidation. People who want to vote illegally SHOULD be deterred.
‘Election Integrity’ is a dog whistle for racism, voter disenfranchisement, and voter suppression.
H.R. 1 bill summary from Indivisible - "...how hard Republicans are working to suppress the vote, specifically to disenfranchise Black people and people of color."
This is an insult to every minority voter who casts their ballot for the GOP. The minority vote for the GOP rose in the 2020 election - blacks, Hispanics, etc.
Count all votes.
No, only count the legal votes. Why would you want to count illegal votes unless you were trying to steal an election?
Voting should be made as easy as possible to raise voter participation levels.
If you want to raise voter participation rates, then clean the voter rolls. Removing dead people and nonresidents, for example, will raise voter participation rates dramatically.
It is desirable to make voting easy, but election safeguards are also desirable (chain of custody, etc.).
GO ON OFFENSE
The Left’s old voter suppression narrative has just about run its course.
They’ve been saying the same old thing for at least ten years.
The real voter suppression has come from the Democrat Party.
The Democrats have a hundred-year history of trying to suppress the minority vote. Jim Crow laws, poll taxes, literacy tests - these are all Democrat inventions and all were found unconstitutional. Moreover, 17 Democrats voted against the Voting Rights Act of 1965, while only one Republican did so. The Democrats own voter suppression; they wrote the book.
The Democrats have a long history of voter and election fraud.
There’s only one reason the Democrats want to eliminate election safeguards - to steal elections.
President Trump said to the crowd at a rally in Washington in January 2020:
“There’s only one reason the Democrats could possibly want to eliminate signature matching, oppose voter ID and stop citizenship confirmation.... Because they want to steal the election.”
There’s only one reason the Democrats want to strip away all the safeguards - they want to steal elections and impose one-party rule forever. There’s only one reason Democrats want to make mail-in voting permanent everywhere - they want to cheat and are trying to exploit the pandemic to get their way. The Democrats want their ballot harvesters to be able to return absentee ballots, not because it will help minority voters, but because it will help the Democrats steal elections.
Only one reason state officials would change all the rules without legislative authority before the election. Only one reason why Democrats in Virginia would get rid of the state’s voter ID law. Only one reason to throw Republican election observers out of the vote counting center in Detroit. Only one reason to bully nursing home residents into voting for Biden against their will. Only one reason to implement a pervasive cash-for-votes scheme in Ilhan Omar’s district directed by her staff. Only one reason to adopt voting machines that have used to steal elections in other countries. Only one reason to use voting machines that automatically generate a 68 percent error rate you can fill in any way you want. Only one reason: You want to steal elections, plain and simple.
We need laws and policies that assure only those eligible to vote can do so --- and can only vote once. Why do the Democrats work so hard to strip away election safeguards? Why do they work so hard to stop anyone from cleaning up the voter rolls? Because they want to steal elections, that’s why.
This is no longer acceptable....
From Republican absentee ballots not being counted to kicking Republican poll watchers out of voting centers, this is no longer acceptable. Whether it’s from incompetence or by design, this is no longer acceptable.
It is no longer acceptable to have noncitizens voting in our elections. Not because they vote in great numbers, but because American citizenship should mean something.
Loosey-goosey mail-in voting is no longer acceptable. Allowing Democrat ballot harvesters to traffic in absentee ballots is no longer acceptable. Leaving dead voters on the rolls is no longer acceptable. Each and every one of these things is a vector for election fraud.
It’s no longer acceptable not to require an ID to vote. It’s no longer acceptable not to match signatures on absentee ballots. It’s no longer acceptable not to have numbered ballots, so middle-of-the-night ballot dumps from out of state or China are no longer possible. It’s no longer acceptable to have voting machines that are deliberately designed to generate 68 percent error rates that elections officials can fill in any way they want, as happened in Antrim County, Michigan. It’s no longer acceptable to shut out Republicans from observing the election process. And it’s no longer acceptable to smear as racist half the country that wants the election safeguards stripped away in the pandemic to be restored. These things are no longer acceptable.
People’s votes are nullified when election safeguards are stripped away.
Every illegal vote cast nullifies a legal vote.
Women worked hard for suffrage and their votes are canceled by illegal votes.
Noncitizen voters dilute the vote of U.S. citizens, harming especially U.S. citizens in border states which have high taxes to pay for services for illegal aliens.
Voter fraud is a felony in most states. This is not a trifling matter.
Electronic voting machines must be dependable and reliable, and objections to their dubious operations should no longer be dismissed out of hand.
There is evidence machine results can be edited and changed, especially when machines are connected to the Internet.
A court-ordered forensic examination of the machines in Antrim County, Michigan showed that they are deliberately designed to intentionally generate a 68 percent error rate right off the bat that election officials can then fill in any way they want. That’s not a machine that counts votes. That’s something else. I don’t know what that is.
Phill Kline on Private Financing of Elections
This is government attempting to increase the turnout of particular demographics, which should be just as objectionable as targeting blacks to suppress their votes.
Election integrity is a good message for everybody.
If working to restore common sense safeguards to elections is voter suppression, I’ll eat my hat. Election integrity is a good message for everybody.
Democrats do care about voter fraud when it happens to them. There are numerous instances of Democrat candidates screaming about voter fraud in Democrat primaries.

- Voter ID laws suppress the vote.
‘Voter ID laws are the new Jim Crow’
- Let’s start with demolishing Joe Biden, first. There he goes again, comparing the new Georgia voter ID law to Jim Crow. I defy anyone to tell me how the Georgia law is anything like Jim Crow. What are Jim Crow laws? They were laws that racially segregated the South after the Civil War. Blacks couldn’t sit at white lunch counters, drink from white water fountains, or use other whites-only public facilities. To say requiring all voters to show ID is anything remotely like Jim Crow is the mother of all false equivalencies. Of course minority voters can get IDs; most already have one. The rest can get free government-issued non-driver IDs in many states. To say blacks aren’t capable of getting IDs like other people is blatantly racist. The comparison to Jim Crow is so outlandish, it exposes the emptiness of the Left’s rhetoric. They can’t make their case so they seek refuge in hyperbole, the last refuge of the morally bankrupt.

- The Democrats’ canned response to common sense election safeguards is ‘voter suppression’ - provisions like these make it harder for people to vote. To which my answer is, well, duh! Of course we want to make it harder for people who are not qualified to vote in our elections. There are good reasons for each and every one of the safeguards commonly used to secure elections. Requiring an ID makes it harder for people to buy beer, but we don’t want 12-year-olds buying beer. Requiring a Real ID makes it harder for people to get on an airplane, but we don’t want to raise the risk of terrorism by allowing people who are not who they say they are to fly. Requiring voter ID makes it harder to vote, but we don’t want dead people or noncitizens voting.

- Democrats such as Alabama Governor George Wallace, Birmingham Commissioner of Public Safety Bull Connor, and U.S. Senator Robert Byrd, Democrat of West Virginia, who in his youth was a Kleagle – a Ku Klux Klan recruiter -- actively enforced those terrible laws. His Democrat Party led and protected racism for over 100 years but today wants you to think they care about protecting your vote.
