Special Report: Numbers
Indicate Terrorists Coming Across the Border

According to recently released U.S. government information, thousands of illegal immigrants were returned in FY 2013 to home countries which have known terrorism problems and/or a reputation for exporting jihad. This is some indication that Islamist extremists and terrorists are coming across the porous U.S. border. The numbers constitute another data point – along with Korans and prayer rugs found at the border – supporting the conclusion that our government’s failure to secure the border is a serious national security threat.
The numbers below are people who returned. How many others were not caught and are still here? For what purpose? Are they organizing? What are they planning? How is one to view Washington’s lack of interest in these questions as anything other than gross dereliction of duty?
The numbers are from -
Source: U.S. Department of Homeland Security. ENFORCE Alien Removal Module (EARM), January 2014, Enforcement Integrated Database (EID), November 2013.
They are from a document entitled –
ALIENS RETURNED BY REGION AND COUNTRY OF NATIONALITY: FISCAL YEARS 2009 TO 2013
Deportations consist of removals and returns. Removals occur after a court process. Returns occur voluntarily without court process after illegal immigrants are apprehended by ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) or CBP (U.S. Customs and Border Protection). Again, the numbers below are just returns. Undoubtedly, there are more illegal immigrants from these countries who have been released into the interior of the United States after being ordered removed by a court (release pending deportation is a common occurrence).
