This is a depressingly long list of reports this month, mostly centered on the sexual abuse of non-Muslim women and girls by Muslim men, who find justification for their abominable behavior in Islamic Law (sharia) itself.

  • Yet another Taliban edict to promote child marriage.
 
“Afghanistan: Taliban legalize child marriages, New York Post denounces them as un-Islamic” by Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch, May 18, 2026 
  • Note, as Robert Spencer does, that even as the New York Post criticizes the Taliban’s support for child marriages, the Post hastens to distance itself from any implication that such practices could possibly be any part of Islam or sharia themselves. Spencer’s piece is an excellent resource on the subject Islam’s child marriage problem.

Of course, Islamic history includes accounts of Muhammad’s own ‘marriage’ to a six-year old, Aisha, whom he raped when she reached the age of nine.
