Does your Washington Post subscription cost $260 while your neighbor’s is only $60? Paper gets sued for ‘surveillance pricing’, an unfair and deceptive trade practice where prices are set using the subscriber’s personal information (reading habits, demographics, browsing activity, etc.) instead of market price signals.
Scott Pelley says Bari Weiss asked 60 Minutes staffers: “Why do you think the country thinks you’re biased?" Pelley: "Why do you think so? Do you have a poll? Is there market research? What are you talking about? Because we certainly didn't believe that." Well, Scott, you can start with Hunter Biden’s laptop. Silly Leslie Stahl kept claiming ‘it couldn’t be verified’ after the FBI had already verified it and the federal government had said on social media the laptop was legitimate. Scott, why don’t you just go quietly instead of making a fool of yourself?
