August 29-31, Detroit, MI:A panelist speaking at the "People's Conference for Palestine" in Detroit called the United States "an evil country" and expressed a need to "destroy the idea of America in Americans' heads." Speaking on a panel titled "No Weapons for Genocide: The People Demand an Arms Embargo," Sachin Peddada, a Ph.D. student in economics and research coordinator at Progressive International, repeatedly ripped on the United States as an "empire" motivated by greed. As Peddada said these words, the crowd broke into applause. At another point during the panel, Peddada declared, "We live in an evil country."

April 17, 2025：Abdullah Haji Zada, 18, a native and citizen of Afghanistan and U.S. lawful permanent resident, pleaded guilty to a criminal information charging him with knowingly receiving, attempting to receive, and conspiring to receive a firearm and ammunition to be used to commit a federal crime of terrorism. According to court documents, Zada and a co-conspirator received two AK-47-style rifles and 500 rounds of ammunition, knowing that the firearms and ammunition would be used in connection with a terrorist attack on Election Day in November 2024 on behalf the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization. Zada was arrested with co-conspirator Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, also a citizen of Afghanistan, in October 2024. Zada, who was 17 at the time of his arrest, entered his guilty plea as an adult and will be sentenced as an adult. At sentencing, Zada faces a maximum penalty of 15 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
April 17, 2025, Blue Earth County, MN: A sentence just shy of eight months in jail was given to a Minnesota man who shoplifted body armor among other items and allegedly posted politically motivated threats on social media to potentially create mass casualties. Mohamed Adan Mohamed, 24, of St. Peter was sentenced in Blue Earth County District Court after pleading guilty to felony theft in connection with stealing body armor and other items from a Mankato Scheels store on April 17 and posting a deadly threat aimed at the United States and Israel.
August 12, 2025, Albany: Mufid Fawaz Alkhader, 29, of Schenectady, New York, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for conspiring to illegally straw purchase a firearm, obstructing the free exercise of religious beliefs with a dangerous weapon, and brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence. On Dec. 7, 2023, Alkhader took an Uber from his home to Temple Israel, a synagogue in Albany. Upon arriving at the synagogue, at approximately 2:00 p.m., Alkhader walked up the walkway toward the front entrance, brandished the Kel-Tec shotgun, and then twice fired the shotgun into the air while shouting "Free Palestine!" As a result of Alkhader's actions, Temple Israel was forced to cancel a planned concert and candle lighting ceremony to celebrate Chanukah that evening, and its congregants were afraid to return to their place of worship.
Aug 11, 2025, Boston, MA: On July 23, white paint was poured on Massachusetts State House in Boston, and concrete columns were spray-painted. The suspect also appeared to attempt to write the words "Divest" or "Divert" on a concrete pillar. A man associated with a pro-Palestinian group suspected in a series of vandalism acts targeting "prominent public institutions" faced charges. Jermaiah Yusuf Sawaqed, 25, of Everett, was arrested and appeared in Boston Municipal Court. A trooper observed "white paint footprints" believed to have been left by Sawaqed as he fled and two suspicious objects, which were believed to be homemade improvised explosive devices, according to a criminal complaint. Federal officials said they became aware of Sawaqed in May after he appeared in a video in urging followers to target government buildings and corporate logistics networks, officials said.

Sept 7 2025, Houston, TX: Masjid At-Tawhid in Houston, a tax-exempt Nation of Islam mosque, is escalating beyond preaching. The mosque proudly flies the Palestinian flag outside its building and maintains a private security force in uniforms resembling Houston police officers. Its Imam, F. Qasim ibn Ali Khan-recognizable by his dyed red-orange beard-has launched a campaign to pressure Muslim-owned stores into following Sharia. Why it matters: In Islam, dyeing the beard is rooted in hadith instructing Muslims to distinguish themselves from non-believers.

Aug. 21 2025, Loudoun County, VA: A group of boys at a grade school in Loudoun County in Virginia were recently suspended from school because they objected to a female student in their locker room who identifies as male. The female student even took pictures in the locker room but the boys – EXCEPT FOR ONE WHO IS MUSLIM - were suspended for objecting. The case is outrageous. We are not supposed to denigrate transgenders, but Muslims get a free pass in the wacky world of the Left.

Aug. 20, 2025, Austria: An Austrian court has upheld the use of Islamic Sharia law in private arbitration for civil disputes when both parties consent. The Vienna Regional Court for Civil Matters confirmed that such arbitration is permissible under Austrian law if it does not violate fundamental public policy. This decision stems from a recent case involving a financial disagreement between two individuals. The dispute arose from a contract signed by two men that specified arbitration based on Islamic principles of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaah, which refers to the Sunni Islamic tradition. Following a conflict, the arbitration tribunal ruled against one party, ordering him to pay €320,000. The losing party then challenged the award in the Vienna court, claiming the application of Sharia was arbitrary due to varying Islamic scholarly interpretations and conflicts with Austrian legal values. The court rejected the challenge, stating it could not verify the exact use of Islamic rules but found the outcome did not contradict Austrian fundamentals. It emphasized that parties can agree to apply foreign legal provisions, including Sharia, in arbitration for property claims. [Editor’s Note – Sharia concepts are creeping into law in America, especially in family court. Recall the ‘American Law for American Courts’ movement of a few years back.]

They also claim that other groups commit as many, or even more, terrorist attacks. The numbers tell a very different story. According to Fondapol, a French think tank, between 1979 and May 2021, at least 48,035 Islamist terrorist attacks took place worldwide, causing more than 210,000 deaths. [Editor’s Note – Islam has slaughtered more than 270 million people throughout its ignominious history.] The overwhelming majority of this violence has occurred in Muslim-majority countries: 86.3% of the attacks happened there, accounting for 88.9% of all the deaths.

August 29-31, Detroit, MI: In Detroit, the so-called "People's Conference for Palestine" became a stage for glorifying suicide bombers, hijackers, and Hamas terrorists. Even children as young as six were led in chants pledging their souls to "resistance." The conference, which took place from August 29-31, 2025, demonstrated how certain concerning trends and tactics that gained traction in the wake of Hamas's October 7, 2023, terror attacks on Israel have become normalized nearly two years later. These included the open and explicit glorification of terror groups like Hamas; calls to eradicate Zionism and target Zionists; encouraging the use of potentially unlawful, direct-action approaches that go beyond standard protest activity; the platforming of individuals convicted for terrorist activities; and extreme calls not for a ceasefire but to abolish Israel.
