It’s a mixed bag here this month: some encouraging initiatives and successes and a few others that show we still have a lot of work to do.

- Of course, as President Trump must already know, any alien law, much less one as hostile to the U.S. Constitution as sharia, is already superseded by the Supremacy Clause of Article VI, U.S. Constitution. The First Amendment only protects persons who practice their faith according to the original intent of the Founders—James Madison and others—who wrote our Bill of Rights and the Constitution. That original intent includes prayer, worship, devotion, dietary/fasting rules, and pilgrimage—but definitely not a corpus of alien law like sharia that violates our Constitution in myriad ways.

- In fact, the Supremacy Clause of US Constitution, Article VI, already makes the US Constitution and laws derived from it the Supreme Law of the Land. Now, what’s most needed is enforcement!

- Although neither the Muslim Brotherhood nor any of its US-based front groups has ever committed an act of kinetic violence (terrorism) vs the US or Americans, Sen. Cruz is absolutely correct to point out the subversive influence they actually do wage against our Constitution and our Republic.
