  • You see, the first time the police took her photo, she was not wearing any head covering…so, they allowed her to cover her entire head and face except for her eyes for the second one (hope they kept the original on file!).  [Editor’s Note: Islam’s mistreatment of women - i.e., dress codes - can have consequences for the rest of us, as this story shows.]
 
“Denmark Charges Two People in First-Ever Quran Desecration Case” by Sarah Zouiten at Morocco World News, January 24, 2025
  • Although the names of those charged are not included in this report (so we don’t know if they are men or women), this case so well illustrates the collapse of Western Civilization in Europe before the onslaught of Islamic Law (sharia), that it merits inclusion here. Interesting to note that the story is carried in a Moroccan news outlet, raising the question of whether they are genuinely trying to expose a violation of civil liberties or perhaps gloating for a Muslim audience at the fall of Denmark to sharia.

  • It’s heartening to see the ICC finally awakening to the horrific, systemic repression of Afghan women and girls under Islamic Law and drawing attention to it, but doubtful those charged will ever face trial in an ICC court.

  • This statement comes from the president of the Association of Arab Women in Italy after a number of women filed assault complaints following a New Year’s Eve celebration in Milan. The men who molested them were identified only as “North African”.
