Women Under Sharia -
Faithful Muslims Abuse Women Because the Quran Tells Them To
Clare M. Lopez
January 2025
It’s another New Year, but ages-old ‘rape jihad’ never stops. With new attention being focused on the rape gangs in Britain (thanks to Tommy Robinson and Elon Musk), plus International Women’s Day coming up on 8 March 2025, we again unfortunately have a litany of abuse stories to share with you. Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch remains an outspoken truth-teller about the doctrinal basis for such abuse, but Andrew McCarthy joins him this month with an exceptional essay at National Review.
“UK: Muslim migrant arrested for trying to rape 14-year-old girl says ‘I don’t know UK laws, I only follow Sharia’” by Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch, January 9, 2025
“The Rape Jihad Is Unmentionable Because It’s Doctrinal” by Andrew McCarthy at National Review, January 11, 2025
“Muslim preacher says rape is woman’s fault if she wasn’t ‘following Allah’s recommendations concerning her attire’” by Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch, January 10, 2025
“Oxford Institute for British Islam leader says imams are still actively promoting Muslim rape gangs” by Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch, January 9, 2025
“Italy: 40 Muslim migrants engage in ‘Islamic ritual’ of mass sexual molestation on New Year’s Eve” by Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch, January 13, 2025
“India: Hindu man who rescued minor girl from Muslims is found dead, body beheaded and mutilated” by Ashlyn Davis at Jihad Watch, January 13, 2025

- Unfortunately, too few in the West understand this: this would-be rapist is citing the doctrine of his faith.
“The Rape Jihad Is Unmentionable Because It’s Doctrinal” by Andrew McCarthy at National Review, January 11, 2025
- Andrew McCarthy nails it: sexual abuse by Muslim men of non-Muslim women and girls is sanctioned in Islamic scripture, in the Quran itself. This is an excellent essay, in which McCarthy draws on expertise initially earned while prosecuting the “Blind Sheikh” case (Omar Abdel Rahman) in the early 1990s. Notably, McCarthy was also a book contributor who co-authored the Introduction to “Shariah: The Threat to America” and author of two other books on jihad: “Willful Blindness” & “The Grand Jihad”.

- No, things are not going in the right direction in the former Syria under new (Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham, HTS) management
